The Bearding Continues

As I near the halfway point of the Six Month No-Shave Challenge, I find myself facing the same problems. First, my beard sucks. Second, my mustache is getting into my mouth.

1. The first problem can only be addressed through perseverance. If it sucks, so be it. The goal was to go six months, not to grow Mona Lisa on my face.

2. The second problem was helpfully addressed by occasional commenter John, who suggested I consider Mustache Wax. (That’s the name of a band, right? Because it should be.) But I can’t wax a mustache and then have a full beard, right? That’d be ridiculous. So I just have to endure this month until I can successfully push the hair right or left, depending.

Also, I will admit looking forward to April, when I get to change things. I haven’t cut my hair in at least three months, and likely more. Between that and the beard, I’m hairy-faced.

After One Week

I rarely fool around with my photographs, primarily because I have no idea what I’m doing. Also, because I’ve been so busy that I rarely have the time to take photographs. Sniff. Still, I think as I upload these photographs from the Six-Months-No-Shave-Challenge, I’ll fool around with them to see what I can produce.

I Know What You’ve Been Thinking…

…and that is that it is time for another no-shaving challenge, right? I knew it! Last time I did it, I went three months. Lamesville, Population: Me. This time, let’s try six months. In other words, the next time I can shave is April 7th.
