Focus on the Family Prays For Rain/Hates Gays

Posted: August 12th, 2008 | Author: Sam | Filed under: Blog Posts |

Focus on the Family, a misnamed organization that ought to be called Focus on the White, Republican, Christian Family with a Father, a Mother, Two Children, and No Goddamned Gays is apparently so serious about combatting Barack Obama’s appearance in their own Colorado backyard that they’re encouraging their members to pray for rain during Barack Obama’s acceptance speech. Why?

Because they’re ignorant motherfuckers whose time has come and passed in the American discourse, because they offer nothing more than rabid gay hatred, and because they literally have nothing better to attack Obama with. Jackasses.

Why not ask for a particular bolt of lightning while you are at it?
When people are focussed on winning control of the state’s billy-club rather than abolishing it they start doing silly things, pagan things, like ridiculous chant-like repetitious pleas for rain.
    Sad.

Why can’t you be more accepting of other opinions?

What’s annoying is that when the convention happens and it’s sunny and beautiful in Denver, these guys will never even consider the possibility that God approves of Obama and homosexuality. They’ll just make excuses.
