Don’t want to get shot? Don’t bother reclusive families. Seems pretty straightforward. (A more scandalous opinion might be this: if a creepy man had been shot by a pretty blonde, after he went sneaking around her property, would this story be news? Of course not. So while I’m sorry that she got shot, I’m not going to feel more badly about this situation simply because she was pretty and popular and he was reclusive and weird.)
